Haha yes!

So I will be changing the oil and coolant eventually.. and cleaning the chain (just like the old days) and wheels. This bike is neat. It has 3 separate locks on it. Some glove storage in the tank and under the seat.

It has an aftermarket puig flyscreen that needs a bumper between it and the headlight to keep it from buffeting at high speeds. This bike is super stable on the highway compared to the buell. Also custom valve caps.

The chain needs to be tightened a little bit methinks.

I am still a hair too short for this lol so I will be changing the pegs for mini floorboards so I can ride comfortable. Have considered buying new controls and having the ones on the bike shortened about 3/4 inch. I will also add an auto oiler for the chain.

Either way I am very happy. The bike is super quiet. Power comes on easy and at anytime. Transmissions exhibits no drama and neutral is easy. Very little vibration. Love the LCD cluster it has a clock, tach, and fuel gauge!

I’ve decided to just do drill and tap mid pegs. This is what it will look like. Just widening an existing bolt hole in the frame on each side and cutting a circle in each fairing.

Never seen one before. Awesome.

yeah well i fucked it up today, grabbed the brake toward the end of the condo farm driveway and dumped it in the sand/mulch all over the road thanks to a speeding asshole doing 20 in a 10. blinker, windscreen busted and some small scratches. bike faired well . i am ok too. knee is a little swollen but will be better in a few days.

4-6 weeks in a brace. making a sandwich is tough. i could probably drive but i wont for now. cant tie my shoe lol

on the positive side, it doesnt really hurt until i put weight on it. the swelling is less.

also i can fix the blinker but have to replace the windscreen. a sharpie will take care of most of the scratches. if this was the buell, i would have been super fucked.

12 days in... 90% of the swelling is gone as well as the big bruise on my thigh. replacement blinker and windshield are here as well as the mid pegs and "digital silver metallic" paint sharpie :)

also i can put weight on it and i can put on my own shoes as long as the brace is off LOL. therapy this coming thursday hoping to move to a smaller brace and be allowed to drive a car again.

Pics… my condo is three floors so I’m going to be jacked haha! I moved my toiletries to the second floor bathroom so I only have to go upstairs to shower and sleep. Office is in the basement. Stairs are my bitch now.

I was wearing a coat and pants so glad my arm isn’t shredded.

Damn, be easy, we aren't as young as we used to be. Work that PT and get yourself back in working condition.

so i have everything to fix the bike and install the mid pegs. going to work on that this weekend.

PT went well they want me to walk around with a single crutch now to enable movement of my knee and not put alot of weight on it. and i can take the brace off when i am home but still use the crutch. i can drive my car again. i have to put my snow tires on this weekend also for my inspection sticker lol.

still cant go up stairs even with the brace on with the crutch but everything is alot easier now. things feel good. should be 100% in less than a month.

Shit man. Just saw this. Make it right!

Reminds me of my one drop. I dropped my bike going about 25 as I slowly drifted into a fire department parking lot shoulder to wait for a buddy on a ride. Hit loose gravel on asphalt and low sided it. Slid a long ways. Nothing got damaged on the bike but the slider and the clutch cover. Shift lever broke off on my leg, super joy driving home in second on a Gixxer. Even though it was low speed, shredded my riding pants. Massive purple bruises inside and outside my left leg and arm. Didn't have heath care at the time so never went in. Oh to be young.

everything is good, lol. i dont have the right hex sockets to take the bike apart to replace the blinker. i started working on the mid pegs. i bought all those standard hex to work on the buell and kept them when it left but the honda is of course... metric :)

i feel good too! i can walk around on my brace with out my crutch just fine, and i can walk around without it too. another 2 weeks perhaps.... can't wait to get back to racing. my season points are dead.
