alright... i cant seem to find out how to wire the v-tec into my '93 civic dx. :( i have the p28 ecu, but i dont know what pins to connect to. anyways... will it hurt anything if i go ahead and drop the motor, plug the ecu in, and just run it without the v-tec? just until i get it figured out.

any body got a detailed pin-out? :huh: also... there are two plugs that go to the v-tec... plug one...the selinoid has only one wire... goes to A-4... plug two... has two wires in it. which one goes to D-6? where does the other wire go? :unsure:

as you may already know, i am swaping a d16z6 into my 93 civic dx (originally a d15b7) i got the p28 ecu, and the motor ready to drop, but still holding back. i need to know how to wire up the v-tec. i got a haynes manual, looked in the wiring diagrams, and got lost... that shit is like greek to...

also... the car is daily driven, driven hard, all the time ;) probably why the b7 is shot :rolleyes:

alright.... i decided to swap the d16z6 with my existing d15b7. the only the is...my head is in the shop right now. and will be awhile before i get it back. i need to know if i can temporarily use the head off the b7, until i get the one back for the z6? i know it wont do anything for the motor...

i wouldn't have thought u could get that much out of a head gas. know wher i can get one? do you all think it would be better to just swap the whole motors? which could i get more over all power from? i dont race the car, but like to have it when i want it. mostly show either way the head left...

whats a p28? i am no mechanic, have to be specific what about the pistons? should i swap them also? rods?or just the pistons? would it be worth trying????

alright... i think a mini me swap is what its called, but anyway, i have a 92 civic with a d15b7 in it. i also have a head off of a d16z6. what all do i have to do to put the head on the b7 block and get it runnin? is it worth it? would i need to run the ecu from the z6?
