No you cannot datalog the stock PM6 ECU without a chip using TurboEdit

The only thing you can do is get a 4 wire o2 sensor and wire it up...or chip the P28 ECU you have, and disable the O2 heater in the chip.

On an OBD0 vehicle, you shouldnt need to jumper the service connector to set the base timing with a light. When you go back for a retest, are they only going to test your HC's or are they going to completely retest you?

Crome whether it be the free or Pro version is a great program. The only thing Pro has is the datalogging and dyno tools. Datalogging you can get with a program like Freelog which they are making a lot of strides with more and more every day. Crome free does have the real time updating...

Are you using an HX ECU with the GSR motor in there? I'm confused... I am going to doubt that if you are getting random misfires that fixing the 2 O2 sensor codes are going to fix the misfire...but that is a good start to fixing the codes.

To throw some info out there, yes it only takes adding one transistor to a P05 ECU so that you can run a 4 wire O2, BUT, the program on the P05 ECU still thinks there is only a single wire O2 so you need to change the program (IE - chipping). Same with a P28. You can run a single wire O2, but...

Doubtful...most Ebay vendors use what are called 'Dual Wipe' sockets. The Ostrich plugs in best to a machined DIP socket or screw down type ZIF sockets (i happen to sell these) if you need to remove it from time to time.

I wouldnt even go with the AEM Yugo... They read non linear if you output them to an ECU, and they use the same Bosch sensor every other Wideband on the market uses except AEM got stupid and used a different plug end on their sensor so you have to buy it from them if you need a replacement...fags!

The TurboEdit creator also has his own version of OBD1 tuning software. All OBD1 uses the same basic ROM stuff, they just use a different interface. I believe JParker's stuff can do either P30 or P72 stuff as well to a point. I'm not sure, I just know he uses his own software to tune 400-500+...

As long as it is socketed and not soldered in. In my experience as well, most of those Jun, Spoon ECUs use the cheapest sockets (dual wipe) which over time and after repeat changing wear or loose contact completely...which either leaves you to resocket or toss the ECU as most times its harder...
