Hey, I did the same swap in my 96HB. You'll need the rear mount from the Si, the other mounts will match up. You'll also need his axles. You can upgrade to the Si brakes, too. For the wiring, get an OBD2a to OBD2b harness and plug in the Si ECU to your wiring with that, it's much easier.

Come on guys, I had that kit in my hatch and with no tuning at 10 psi I made 230 at the wheels, that's a fact. Assuming you have a boost controller, 300 with Hondata and larger injectors is no problem.

I got my Greddy Kit off of Ebay. It came with intercooler, blue box, everything I needed. 2800 bucks. That plus Hondata and you'll make 300 to the wheels. I won't recommend anything because each Ebay seller is different, but I'd just like to relay my good experience.

Strange. I get that exact idle problem you mentioned sometimes with my Turbo B16. Any thoughts on why this could be happening to both of us? Mine seems to do it more frequently when it's cold out, or after running it harder than normal.

Nice move on using the VTEC ECU with a non-VTEC car. I'm pretty sure it had more to do with than just the distributor.

$2500? I don't know man...it's doable, but you won't really have enough to do it right. How long do you want to keep your car for? I hate when people tell you it can't be done, but if you want even a smidgen of reliability, you've got to spend more than 2500 dollars.

Have you ruled out valve tap yet? I had an adjustable cam gear let go on me and it caused a loud tapping/knocking noise. Does the motor have adj. cam gears? If not, maybe the valves need adjusting. Just a thought. Good luck.
