    u may be in luck with 92 civic because some of the early models had the full wiring harness [si] installed in it because the harness came from japan and were not made to just certain models untill later 94+ the easiest way to find out is to take the lower steering cover off and see if the plug...

    i have a 92 civic si and want to turbo it, i havn"t picked one yet but i have a more pressing question, with the stock internals i was wondering what kind of boost levels i can get [4-5psi]? and still have a working engine when i hit the finish line and what kind of horse power can i see.

    sounds like your release bearing, u say in runs ok, so the release bearing is most likly the prolem

    it should fit becuse that is what the vx was basicly a 1.5 block and a 1.6 head but you would have run new oil passasgers for the v-tec its better and more cost effective to just put in the whole d16z engine

    check the throtle cable to see if its stuck or getting stucksome where, if your engine flares up for no reason and keeps going till it red lines then there is leak in you intake manifold beyond the throtle plate what model is your civic?

    pull the fuse's as u know but after re-installing them let the car run at idle untill the rad fan comes on, then the ecu will set to the new values , just let it idle and don't press the gas or turn on the any electric items
