    Changing throttle cable?

That's it? I knew it was easy. I just wanted to check just in case. Thank you.

    Vibrations at high RPMs

I have been rotating my tires like that for a long ass time now and the tread wears very evenly. I have had no tire problems at all as far as I'm concerned. That does make sense to keep it rotating the same way. :D Hmmm, I'll keep that in mind next time. I could swap the fronts and rears...

    Vibrations at high RPMs

The noise started after I changed my axle. I rotated my tires about 300 miles ago. The tires I have are not uni-directional meaning it doesn't matter which side you throw them in. I swapped my rear right wheel with the front left wheel and vice versa. Do you think it has to do with the...

I need help popping my axle out!

I thought you were thinking about the drive shaft for a minute since you mentioned "tranny." I don't want to start shit so calm down. :peace: That bitch was really stuck there, believe me. Yes, I have pulled it at the base where the cv boot is. So I guess I'll be down there again to put...

I need help popping my axle out!

I'm talking about the axle, not the freakin driveshaft that connects to the tranny. The drive shaft came out with no problems. Haven't you been reading earlier what I posted? Do you even know what a driveshaft is? The driveshaft connects to the tranny which connects to the axle...

I need help popping my axle out!

Do you really think I need that? <_< Damn! I just put it back together. Does that explain why my car is now vibrating at higher RPM?

I need help popping my axle out!

None of your ideas worked. I had my friend come over to try and yank it and it didn't move at all. We even tried a jack and that didn't work either. So I had no choice, but to remove the whole driveshaft and axle together. Fortunately, I was able to separate the axle from the shaft by...

I need help popping my axle out!

Sorry, I meant "Vise-Grips." I wasn't thinking when I wrote that. Yeah, I think the pipe wrench is the best idea yet. Thank you!

I need help popping my axle out!

That's not a stupid idea. Actually, I tried that with regular pliers, but they were too small. Do you think a vise script will work. The pipe wrench does sounds better though. Thanks.

I need help popping my axle out!

Axle pry bars? That sounds like that's what I need. Thanks.

I need help popping my axle out!

Yeah, I tried that trick. Also, I'm not trying to remove the whole assembly so I'm not trying to remove it from the tranny. The drive shaft is connected to the tranny which connects to the axle. I used a jack to lift the inboard cv joint a little. Hmmmm, maybe I jacked it too much? I'll try...

I need help popping my axle out!

I haven't tried the big F**kn hammer idea yet. Maybe that will work? I hope so because it seems like that's my last hope. I think it's too late about popping the joint off the shaft. <_< I'm pretty sure it's already outta there. It's still under warranty so I'm sure they'll...

I need help popping my axle out!

Yes, I did unbolt the other side from the hub. However, I didn't drain the tranny fluid and loosen the bolts connecting to the half shaft. I don't need to because I don't need to replace it-just the freakin axle. Believe me, I've pulled, but it's not even moving. Where am I supposed to...

I need help popping my axle out!

None of those tools worked even the crow bar. It's really stuck on there. Isn't there a special tool you can use specifically to separate the axle from the shaft? So you think the ball-joint separator will work? I don't know. It seems like it's really stuck on there. I keep hearing how...

I need help popping my axle out!

Here's an illustration and the tools I tried to use. I'm trying to replace just the drive shaft with the two cv boots. It just won't separate from the half-shaft (or whatever you call the other piece) I really need help! This thing is just stuck in there and won't budge at all.

What's the size of the nut for my axle?

it's for a 99 civic/integra. Yeah, I think it's 32 mm. I'll go ahead and buy that big ass socket. Thanks guys.

What's the size of the nut for my axle?

Does anybody know the size of the nut on the outer side of the axle where the wheel is? I'm going to remove my axle and I forgot what size it is. I probably need to buy a new socket.

    Loud vibrations at higher speeds

So is this where I would pry it, because I couldn't last time?
  19. M

    Loud vibrations at higher speeds

Yeah, so are we concluding that the axle is the problem? If that's the case, I think I'll go ahead and just replace that cheap-ass axle with another cheap-ass axle. hehe.

    Loud vibrations at higher speeds

Of course I have the front ball joint (adj) on both sides. Oh yeah, I just remembered that when I did my oil change, I noticed some lubrication that must've spilled out from the cv joint. You think that has anything to do with it? Heck! I think I'll just replace the damn axle...
