01 Accord Aftermarket Alarm

I plan on installing a Viper 5501 with remote start on my 01 Honda Accord. I'm new on the whole alarm thing. But I know how to solder and know the wiring diagram. I would just like to know where good locations would be to install the computer and route the wires.

i say under the glove box

you can put it wherever you want but i can assure you that the wires are not long enough to reach the glovebox. all the wiring you need is under the steering column and its not the smartest thing to extend those wires longer than need be. just tuck it up under the dash under the steering column because chances are if someone is gonna break into your car the alarm will already be going off before they find the brain to the unit.
