Hello Guys,
New crv owner and I need some help. I have a blown block on my 2001 crv so I ordered a high compression B20B JDM engine to be deliver on Monday. Can someone please give me tips and what to look for to make this swap easier? Can I just plug and play on this engine or do I have to do minor transplant to make it work?

Thanks in advance for the tips.

Save all your old sensors and electrical bits from your original engine, then swap them over. To be super easy, you could just swap the manifolds from the original to the new, then plug it all back in. The 2001 B20Z that your CRV came with should be the same compression as the JDM B20B (9.6:1) that you're putting in, so if the ECU can read all the engine electronics as it expects to (reuse your old stuff), it should run like your factory setup.
