2002 EM swap

Hey guys, trying to plan out a swap project for my car. From what I've read on these forums and elsewhere, the best options seem to be a k24z3, or k20a2/k24 combo. Also is there a thread or faq on buying used or re manufactured motors/blocks? I've never done this before so I obviously have a lot of questions.

K swaps are always a good choice for the Civic- but they're still pretty pricey. How much power do you want? You could turbocharge your stock engine for quite a bit less than a K swap.

That's another thing I was curious about...what do I have to do to a Honda engine to make it take a turbo? I'm guessing a k20a2 would be more suited to the task than my current d17a2.

As far as power, maybe around 300whp? How much could I get out of one of the above mentioned engines before having to start modding the innards and upgrading other car components?

you wont get 300whp from a stock 2.0L K-series engine block, but with bolt-ons I/H/E and Kpro tuned you could get anywhere from 210-230whp range, depending on which 2.0L engine you go with, diff bolt-ons, exhaust size, Kpro tune etc.

as for the the k20/k24 build I'm not sure, depends on your setup.
