300hp LS and still be reliable?

i was wondering how can i make 300hp on cali 91 pump gas in a LS and be still be reliable? reliable meaning smooth idle, etc etc... any certain kits or combinations that are better than the rest?? im completely stock except for an intake.. so i wanna know what to get and not have to get rid of it or upgrade it later.. budget is omitted because i want a good guesstimate on the parts.. ive heard a hks gt2835 turbo with the rest of the hks goodies are good for a reliable 400hp..any suggestions greatly appreciated..

91 octane is cutting it. you better run a supplement booster.
you had better sleeve it too.

im not up on hks shit.. i couldn't even tell you what size that turbo is.
