Car is a 92 civic hatch vx with the d16z6 swap from the si in it, when car is idling it constantly revs from 1,000rpm to 1,500rpm and does this over and over, I have a giant fart can so its super annoying, how can I fix it

Double check mechanical timing. Make sure your timing belt isn't off a tooth or two.

Double check electrical timing.

Remove and Clean/Soak the IACV in some carb cleaner.

If that doesn't fix it, remove the FITV and clean it. The FITV has a threaded plug that may have loosened.

IACV is dirty if it's hunting idle after motor gets to running temps. FITV may be bad if it does it at cold starts.

Check the things that I refered to in sequence and then get back to us. FITV is the last thing I'd look at. But, yes OEM new are not that expensive.

If it's not your IACV or FITV, it sounds like it could be a vacuum leak. Check all your vacuum lines to make sure none of them got disconnected.
