Hello I'm new here. I was hoping that I posted this on the right place.

I have a 95 honda accord Dx sedan 5 speed. I got it at 16 from my parents who bought it new.
My ecu just quit on me, but my friend has one. He has a 96 accord that he swapped to OBD1 (they don't do emissions there). He said he will give me his obd2 ecu, but I would have to swap it to obd2.
He said all I need is an exhaust, o2 sensor, engine wiring harness, and wiring adapter harness to connect my crank sensor and top dead center sensor to the new harness.

He said with that and the ecu I can make the car obd2.

Is that it and how hard is it?

I'm a pretty good diy tech, at least I think i am. It doesn't sound hard at all. At least he didn't make it seem that hard.

going forward to obd2 is probably not something you want to do. You can probably score an ecu for $50 an dit will plug right in.. anyone who's dona an h22 swap probably has one sitting around in a box.
all those parts will cost you way more than that and require wiring hackery to make it happen.
