Yeah, I use a K&N recharger kit. Comes with a cleaning fluid and some filter oil.

Take the filter off, dust is off. Spray on the cleaning fluid and let it soak in for about 10 mins. Wash it from the inside out and you could even submerge it. Let it soak some more. Let dry and apply oil. Let it sit for 10-20 min. Reinstall on intake.

The kit has a detailed description of what to do.

if its a foam filter go to your local dirtbike shop and get UNI foam filter cleaner and Maxima Fab 1 air filter oil

Not to hijack this thread, but i have a ractive filter that is metal . . . . how should i clean that?

i am a firm believer in the metal mesh filters......loved my blitz and all I did to clean it out was run it under water........flows the most CFM on the market....
