B16a Sc

k, i am thinking about putting a jrsc on my b16a. now i was wondering if i need to build up my internals in order to prolong the life of the engine. i figure, since the jrsc only boosts about 6psi, i was wondering if it is integral to build up the motor first. also, does it matter what which supercharger i buy, because i am worried about clearence issues in the engine bay. i have a b16a in a 91 LS. i will appreciate any comments

you should be fine...
if you are worried, look into getting the aftercooler. that will lower intake temps and help demote detonation.

it shoudl fit just fine... its not too much bigger than a regualr manifold.... maybe an inch or so.
