i just bought my wife a honda civic dx and it has a b17a motor in it what can i do to add more power to this motor? can anyone help me

what year civic is it?
did they keep the motor OBD-1?
was the swap done correctly?(wiring etc...)
is this a dialy driver?
what is your power goal?
do you want to keep it all motor?
do you want to turbo?
do you want to use nitrous?
how much do you have to spend?
have you upgraded to good tires and disk brakes(good idea if your going to making good power)?

someone elses opinion probably wont be right for you so SEARCH this site is full of information about EVERYTHING you could want.... also try my friend google.com then once you have your ideas narrowed down and you couldnt find your answers posted in here somewhere ie. archived articles, other threads. then post up specific questions and you wont get smartass answers like this and actually get helpful information.

Do you mean D17a as in a 2001 or later civic? or like a 1.7 GSR motor in an older civic that has been swapped?
