B20 swap EG6

so I want to B20 my civic. I have a DC2 cylinder head A LSD box and now im looking for my B20b bottom end.

Ive been told that i cant just bolt it up and make an engine. Something about a golden eagle kit.

Is it needed and if so what is in it. surely i can just source the components as opposed to paying for some one else to source and sell it me in a kit.

Am i right or Wrong. help appreciated.

do a search for b20vtec or ls/vtec .. should bring up several results

Here is the step in the right direction. LSV/CRVtec isn't as easy as just slapping it together.
