Hey, I got a 92 Civic with a b16a in it, and every time I get to a high RPM black smoke goes all over the place. I know that your going to tell me that im running rich, but it just came back from the shop. They said my timing was off because the belt was loose and my spark plugs were the wrong kind. So $107 later I still have the same problem. So if you know whats wrong please help. Thanks


FYI I have no check engine light on.
 
Wait a sec if it were my piston rings wouldnt smoke like that all the time? Not just at a high RPM.
 
Any kind of load it would smoke if it were the rings. Now we talkin like a bad chimney smoke or more like carbon or soot?
