I've just put headers and a exhaust system on my 1997 Honda Civic. The headers came with only 1 spot for a o2 sensor. The car has 2.
[1] Is the second o2 "really needed"?
[2] How can I bypass it to turn the damn check engine light off?

Thanks

OBD II cars run two o2's and their ECU's look for them.As far as how to get rid of the CEL there are a couple of ways, run a chipped ECU that doesn't care and I've seen these things you can plug into the second o2's plug instead of the sensor and it tricks the ECU,but I don't know if they are availible in import applications.Someone else may know a better way.
