Cylinder Not Firing

94 LS high compression n/a motor

I have fuel pressure, i have spark, swapped distributors and still i have one cylinder not firing.

Any ideas?

how do you know its not firing?

You can feel on the valve cover.
Its running jacked up.
And 2 mechanics have said the same thing.

yeah check the cylinder for compression thats giving you problems. if it it has none then it 1 of about 4 things

I just got the motor back from being completely rebuilt so i'm hoping that is none of these things.

well your injector on that cylinder could also not be firing

do a compression test and if one cylinder has no compression try putting a little oil then retesting that will tell u if its rings or not

Also swapped injectors and connectors around and still the same cylinder wont fire.

Just had the same issue. mine was head gasket.

head gasket and two stripped out spark plug holes. i hate the mexican that owned it before me.....

Bad wire, too. Bad contact on cap. Cylinder gremlins clogging it up.

put a grenade in the engine bay, shut the hood and run away. then you wont have to worry about it any longer.

Army surplus store. Fill that fucker with gun powder, slap in a fuse, and you're back in business.
