D16y7 wiring, d16z6 ecu and engine. Using a obd2a to obd1 adapter. Did you guys tap into the wires on the adapter harness with the Vtec and oil pressure switch wires or did you cut them and connect only those wires directly to the ecu so that the ecu couldn’t receive any other signals but those wires? I spliced into them leaving them intact on the adapter but still not getting Vtec. Thank you in advance!
