D16z6 compression

i checked my compression on my stock z6 and the normal bolt on mods but my compression was 12, 12, 12, and 13 through each cylinder

any ideas why it would be like that

well lots of things, i would check the timing first. but that being off or bad valves,rings,hole in the pistons,cracked head,bad head gasket, ect

are you sure you performed the test right? anything below like 100 and the motor probably wouldn't run.

Given the location; I'm assuming the unit of measure is bar. If so, that's about right and you're just fine.
12bar=~174psi
13bar=~189psi

Sounds right; about a 9% difference which is well within spec of what's suggested(which is about 15-20psi difference, or about 1bar)..

How accurate is the tool you're using though? As I'd honestly doubt you could be on 12 or 13 spot on.
