D16Z6 swap to DOHC ZC. Now OBD1 to Obd0

Hey,
for my CRX I'm swapping my D16Z6 (blewup) (had a P28 OBDI ECU) with a DOHC ZC (JDM) ECU: PM7-OBDO.
This means I go from OBD1 to OBDO

I still have all orginal harness.

Question.
Would a OBD0 to OBD1 adapter conversion kit works but just reverse?
or
should I upgrade my DOHC ZC (JDM) to OBD1 with the P28 ECU by using the most of the harness of the D16Z6.

Any help/recommendations

1. Chip the p28 with an obd1 ZC p29 map.
2. By this:

Stay obd1 if you can. They run better and are easier to tune.
