hey wassup guys i got a few questions.....im gettin my block overbored and was wondering how much can i go??.....i want to go 84mm because i can get a set of pistons and rods for cheap but pistons are 84 mm......i have an 94 1.8 vtec GSR block.....also are block guards any good???....i've heard they have cooling problems but not sure.....thank you and have a nice day!!!

to hit 84mm on a gsr, you need to have it re-sleeved.

check our article section on bore sizes . pretty much anything over 82- 82.5 you need a re-sleeve job on a b-series other than a crv.

don't do a block guard unless it is necessary and you are too poor to sleeve.
