I understood it too. Oh well. In any case, an LS block with I/H/E and crazy advanced timing can make 140whp without any problems. Hell, someone (forget who) made 150whp on a 100% stock LS by just tuning the fuel/timing maps. It was on H-T a while back.

NO WAY
Sorry I have MAD respect for you Cal but I don't believe that.

flame me now. but 370 seems a lil high too if the car makes 400 @ the crank. corvettes typically lose a little more then 7.5% of their power through the drivetrain. lol. as most anything will.

correct me if i'm wrong. good number either way tho. i hope i have a freak h22 engine :-D

you suck at math, 8% drivetrain loss from 400hp = -32hp

Who the fuck only loses 7 to 8 percent? It's more like 15 to 20 percent drivetrain loss......

Racing tweak - you can believe whatever you want, but to shut everyone else up, why don't you go dyno it somewhere else.... like a mustang dyno if you want real-world results.

I am not trying to start shit I just know I have one of the BEST tuners here in the states if this dyno is true it was for sure one of those trailer ones just like this thread.
Go to a REAL dyno and tell me what that LS puts down. I say 128 MAX oh and I am being generous with that number.

:shrug2:

I'm not going to dig around on Honda-Tech for 5 hours to find one post... but I know that I saw it. I know it's dosable because I've watched so many cars gain massive amounts of power just by spending some quality time on a dyno with a tuner that knows what he's doing. Hell, look at what Hondata did with the stock RSX-S and TSX. It's all in the tuning.

yea, and 7.5% drive train loss = 30hp. its easy math....7.5*4 = 30.

400
-30
370

my point was, that number is incorrect. 15-20% is typical. so, get your car re-dynoed somewhere respectable.
