I was browsing YouTube when I stumbled across this. Pretty nifty. Will it ever be produced? Highly doubt it, but still cool - street legal, and it made it around the 'Ring in 7:22.xx

at 7:22.XX there have been 9 faster road legal laps... but for a 1.0L thats pretty damn impressive

Yeah I don't think it was designed to be ridiculously fast in a straight line. But it seems to corner well and would certainly make for a fun track toy.

And yeah small displacement with a turbo has been done many times before.. but I think this is one of the cooler applications I've seen from an automaker.

Werd. VAG and BMW are the only companies that offer small turbo's that deliver. The Hyundai turbo's don't and neither do Ford's.

Me too. I think they sound pretty awesome for a such a little engine.. and 200+hp out of a liter of displacement is cool no matter who manufactured it

Boosted 1.0 making 200hp is nothing special.

BMW does it NA with their 1000s bike

The Japanese liter bikes have been in the 180-190 hp for years.

Looks fun. Sound really loud. Open cockpit, little motor working hard, turbo squealing, cut gears. But who am I kidding? I'd love to have a spin at it.
