Watanabe Whore!!!
Rest In Peace
Simple...1.5 years with an unknown cause of pain in the back...doctors can't find shit...MRI's, X-rays, specialist...and nothing....I've tried stretching, pain pills...(they kinda worked, but I wouldn't be able to work) massages for hours at a time, different bed's, different sleeping positions, I even took a few days off to do just nothing...and the damn pain is still there. I have even tried wacking off till nothing came out...hoping it was a bad case of blue balls...but still the pain persist's...

I thought it was a pinched siotic nerve, but nope...spinal leakage....none, degenerative disaese...nothing, over worked muscle...sometimes, bad sleeping habits...not the case, ciggs can't cause a pain in the lower back, and nor can beer...in fact those two items help relieve the pain...Overweight...nah...I lost some pounds...but still have a decent abdoman for a 33 year old drinking male......WTF can this pain be???? I'm getting tired of it...it hampers my job, it makes me put off projects that I need to get done, I'm actually dreding the next trany swap on the Z, but I've also done 2 engine installs on Blackhawks, and a Main rotor head trany install on the S-92 in the last two weeks....plus multiple inspections and other routine inspections that I would normally do for the job....I'm always active at work, so I'm not a lazy fat ass....I just can't stand this pain anymore....

Granted...I've had my big toe severed with a pressure plate for a truck that slipped out of a box, sewn back on...I've sliced off my index finger cutting corn on the cob, had to get it re-attatched, I've had my abdomin sliced open to remove a lymphe node the size of my fist, and my appendix hacked off, I've had my achielis tendon sevored by a run away tool box, I've had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled at the same time, then another molar yanked before the medicen kicked in...I even broke my arm, both bones...and didn't go to get it fixed till the next day, also had a broken position light lens on the F-15 wing impail my hand...and I went diving in the ocean that night, before I decided to go get it stiched up, Plus other knuckle busting finger smashing crap that happens while working on cars and aircraft....and I've been thru about 14 car accidents....and That alone will screw most people up....also a freak sledding accident blew out both of my ear drums, and popped all the blood vessles in my eyeballs...had to wear coke bottle glasses for a few years, hell, my hands and fore arms can withstand heat of any tempurature from all the years of working on hot engines, and I have calliusus' the size of dimes on some areas of my hands................But this damn back pain is driving me nuts....

Anyways...post your battles with pain.....

I know E and a few other on here will have a few good posts....

And my wife is a real trooper....she had an annoying pain that took doctors seven years to find, once found...they split her gut open and cut out a crap load of endometrious and a few cysts on the the olvaries, and a few large fibroids on the uterus.....and about 6-8 months of recovery...she felt better....and about a year later...we finally had some sex.....

So get some stories going...how much pain can you take......

Sorry, you must expand on this.. Its required by... ummm.... law.

Worst pain i've ever been in is an exposed nerve in a wisdom tooth that I lived with for about 3 months. It was horrifying. Got that one yanked, and the remaining three yanked a few days later, and 11 cavities filled on the same day. Hadn't been to the dentist in like 10 years and I plan on staying away for another 10. The only bone I've broken was a toe, and I didn't go to the doc's.. It hurt for about 4 months and still does if I step on it just right.. I was in a rollerblading incident that removed about 1/4th of the skin from my knee down, a good patch on my hip, both elbows, and one hand. and chewed up my knee so bad there was nothing left to sew up.. He just kinda cut off the parts that looked like hamburger and wrapped it up. Rollerblading at 45mph = teh bad.

**edit** I forgot.. I also have a nerve in my right knee that cripples me every once in a while. Its from football injuries.. Had my knee knocked out backwards several times. Anyway, once in a while, I will get this horrifying pain from my knee, it hurts like holy hell and I can't walk on it, or even talk for that matter.. The entire world around me dissapears and its just sheer pain. Then, as quick as it comes on, it vanishes.. and I'm 100% perfectly fine again. Weird shit.

one time working at a factory i had a huge metal cart run into the back of my ankle. i thought it just popped it out of place, as every few steps my ankle would pop and it felt like i was pinching a nerve. i stayed and finished working for 5 hours hauling around these 100+lb metal carts cause the nurse had already went home for the day. after going to the bone and joint specialist the next day it turns out when the cart hit my ankle it rolled my tendon over the ankle. the pop and pinched nerve i was feeling was my tendon rolling back and forth over my ankle. another hour or two and i would have severed my tendon.

one time i got in a wreck as a passenger in a friends TA. seatbelt cut my collarbone almost all the way in half, my door was jammed and t-top was locked so i had to bust out the t-top to get out. as i raised my arm it snapped what was left holding my collarbone together, had to fight my way out of the top with a broken collar bone.

once i was riding my bmx bike. stopped at a stop sign and saw a car about a block and a half away (residential are 35mph speed limit) so i went to cross the street. supposedly it was a drunk driver doing 60+. he hit me, snapped my back in half and knocked me like 30 ft. i landed on the asphalt (middle of august 100+ degrees outside) shattered my thigh, broke in 7 places. by the time paramedics got there i had burns all over my back from being on the apshalt. stayed in a hospital for 6 weeks with a metal rod through my leg to keep it straight, sometimes my body would spasm like crazy and start jerking all over the place and i had to hit the nurse button for them to come in and give me a shot. then i was in a cast that went all the way up one leg and halfway down the other for 6 weeks.

i think thats it. well one time i had a hot iron pressed againt my stomach and burned the shit out of me. that kinda hurt.

I cry even after I get a lolly from the nurse

Seriously though, that's how your post made me feel. And working in kitchens/pizza places, I hardly notice hot pans touching my skin sometimes so I dont think im too big of a wuss.

just thought of another one

getting tested for std's
cotton swab ---> head of penis

hurt 10 times worse being pulled out then it did going in. dick felt wierd for a few hours afterwards :p

When I was born, they said I wouldn't ever walk. They said that my legs were so deformed that they wouldn't even grow straight. They put me in braces and I spent the first 5 years of my life at a children's hospital. Then they said that I wouldn't walk at age 18.

Pain is part of my everyday life. Sharp, wincing pain. Walking, running, whatever. I suck it up and move on. I have a very high tolerance for pain, because I have to.

i guess i'm lucky. i've never actually broken a bone other than a couple fingers and one of my toes. Got my 4 wisdom teeth out at once, then afterwards the pharmacy took like 4hours to fill the prescription, that shit hurt.

i think i cracked my hip on my BMX once, i was hauling ass down an overpass, probably going 40 mph on the sidewalk, when i hit the bottow i went down the handicap part that goes even with the street but for some reason my front wheel locked up, throwing me about 20 feet. took the impact mostly on my right side, and the next day i couldn't really move that leg, and if anything touched my hip for the next year or so, it made a huge shooting pain.

umm other than that, going through the last half of boot camp with shin splints and stress fractures because i didn't want to go to the doctor and get sent home. yea that was dumb, cause now i still can't run good or stay on my legs for a long time.

hmm, getting brand new pedals for my bmx, but going out riding before i filed down the little pegs on em, then remembering after my whole shin is gashed open 1/4" deep and bleeding on my fuckin shoes.

oh yea, back pain. yea yea i'm only 21, but i deal with it every damn day. i worked at a tire shop at 15 and stacked big rig tires everyday without a back brace. it was a stupid kid mistake, and now i gotta pay for it. i can't lift anything over about 30 pounds or my back starts huting bad. it takes about 1600mg of ibuprofen to help it

eya thats about it, nothin too bad for me

The best part about pain is...it lets you know that you are still alive

I heard that once.. from a movie somewhere, I don't remember. I like it.

Oh, and when I had my wisdom teeth pulled and 11 cavities filled, I didn't take any meds afterwards.. I don't medicate unless its antibiotics or a fever.. I hate fevers more than I hate medication.

Two years ago, I went into the hospital for a cough, skip foward through a stroke, clinical death, heart transplant, cancer, and we come to the annual biopsys where they check the right side of my heart. While awake, they enter my femoral artery (at your groin) and pass this water-hose type instrument up your body to your hear where a grappeling hook type instrument claws off a small chunk of tissue from your heart. So far, It's on my top ten of pains...

Perhaps the worst pain was when my mother told me she had wished I had died, or maybe i'd just make her life easier and kill myslef...that hurt.

Wow. That's hardcore...All the stories

I'm a fricking puss I guess, as the worst pain I've probably had was setting the bones in my hand with my other good hand after I smashed it boxing.

Wow I suck.

Never broken any bones, no major injuries. My worst pains include things like accidentally cutting myself with x-acto knives, my dog biting me, muscle spasms, and skinned knees. :p

...I've had some really bad gas pains, does that count? :p

the only thing that ever happened to me was when i had the munchies and went to carl's jr, and bought like
6 chicken sanwiches. the one's that cost like a buck.
i was so hungry i forgot to drink my water. so i was trying to digest all 6 sandwiches the next day, and the pain im my stomach was just so terrible. it was enough pain to take you on the verge of fainting, but it doesn't. when i was in the bathroom for like 3 hours with this pain in my stomach, it was like someone was literally stabbing me to death. my eyes started to see like 3 of everything and the pain in my stomach was because there was literaly no water for lubrication in my digestive system. i've experienced this about 3 times in my entire life. when i was 8, 13, and 15. learned my lesson the third time. i have a really high tolerance for pain. bieng indian in this world after 01, its usually more mental than physical.

How much can I take? Enough to beat the ever loving holy shit out of a cinderblock wall in a blind rage. Fucked my hands up all to hell.

When I'm not angry I'm pretty docile and kinda wimpy. I'm kinda like The Hulk in that respect.

xacto knife injuries are the "cartoon" of all injuries. Its like when Wiley Coyote suspends in mid air, then falls.

You're happily opening boxes or cutting carpet or whatever and you feel "thump" as you run over whatever body part you just ran over. You think.. Did I just... Then you look at it. Its fine, no blood.. Then 10 seconds later you're bleeding all over the fucking place. But those injuries never really cause pain..

yea but they hurt the next day, atleast my finger did when i cut it while working on my truck, but it might have had to do with the fact that my hand was totally covered in black grease and oil when it was cut.. i think when they make razors they like magically make them attracted to fingers or some shit.

:werd: Unless you hit the nerve or something. I've heard that hurts like a bitch. The first week in the dorms, Some kid cut his thumb on the nerve when he was trying to make a pipe out of an apple. There was blood ficking everywhere. Man do boxknife cuts bleed.
