im changing springs, need expert opinions

right now im riding on tanabe df springs (2" front, 1.5" rear) and tokico illuminas. but after dropping , there is still a large gap (about 4 fingers) in the front, despite a 2" drop. so i went a head and bought a similar, if not same, product like this..

....because i want to reduce the gap further....but i haven't installed them yet.
what will these springs do to the ride quality? what should i do? stick with the tanabe or change?

Word. General rule of thumb, if a "racing" coilover costs $38, its really just an adjustable hood prop.
