Thankz man! I wish I would have done one more coat of clear but it turned out pretty good I guess, only one spot pealed when taking the tape off a little early . Hopefully it holds up good

A peel here and there is common, you probably wont notice it when its all back together and looking good. I hope you keep the clean look with the rest of your build. The block is an awesome start.

Oh yeah man the peel is on the back, I'm not that worried about it. And I plan on keeping it clean for sure. I need to get a couple other things painted before it starts getting too cool out

Its been a minute since anyones posted in this one, but Zen, Ill be prepping and painting my friends D16zc (sohc) friday night. Figured it was a relevant topic after i browsed through my subcribes.

Just to have closure to this thread....

Do to finances and other needs in life....

This engine build is dead and has been sold off piece by piece.

I still have the Del Sol but don't have any plans for it other than to drive and enjoy it right now.
