Well, the actual sunday started for me around 12:00...we was in New Haven checking out Toads Place ;) ...and I couldn't believe the hot chicks that was there :blink: ....but ohh well, the wife is coming back home tuesday morning...I can wait.:wub: :ph34r:

Well, driving home this morning...we was messing around on the roads a little, I pushed the CRX a little to hard, and something went. :( .....so I might have ended the stock block...it putted home on 2 cylinders and the boost guage was at 10 psi....ran like crap, and sounds like a rod let go or something :( ....ohh well, I got another engine to put in it. :ph34r: ....hehe

Woke up to a door bell :sleep: , it was the mailman..with a box from JDM land...I opened it up, I was like a kid during Christmas. :p ...hehe....a few models, a few drifting vids, a few PS2 games, more toy cars, some whack game controllers, and a lot of other JDM goods.....like a dream care-package that any import fan would love to have :D .....hehe

Well, I got to finish the trany installation today on the AE86 <_< , and finish putting the interior back together, and work on it as much as possible...to be drift worthy again :spin: , since I already burned out a cluch with this monster in one week B) ...hehe

Went to start the Z. :huh: ..it sat for over a month, and it didn't start :( ....so I got to get it up and cranking as soon as the 86 is done. :angry: ....and I went to BK to get some food............................I had to take the Jeep :( ........ :angry:

More updates as the day progresses :hmm:

ahh that sucks about the CRX but you'll get that other motor dropped in in no time i bet. gonna turbo it while you are at it?

I got another D15A3 stock engine I am going to bore, hone, teg pistons, same turbo set up, and maybe some larger injectors...it will be done in the spring. I like the lightweight engine, not the heavy DOHC's...the car is for autocross, and the heavier the front is, the harder it is to turn....just got to swap the heads though...I like my P&P head...it worked perfect...but I am on a mission to get two HF heads and rape the roller rocking arms for the valves....and I might try to find a cam again, and a gear, so it can be tuned a little better.....
 
better be ready for the spring. you have much more time and money and know-how on the cars...

i think im going to turbo the mirage here by myself, im just missing a few components now. i would take pictures but i wouldnt want you honda folks jealous. lets see.

basic bolt-on turbo kit for honda that you buy complete including fmic: 1000 - 1500
basic bolt-on turbo kit for 1.5L mirage including fmic: 600 - 900 (all mitsu parts, btw)
clayton is also using mitsu 1g dsm auto turbo, and 1g dsm bov. perfect for his engine. :)

ill have more torque and horsepower than a stock b16, on 8lbs of boost. im going to go 12 daily. :ph34r:


clayton, if you need help in december im free just about every weekend. heat up the garage a bit and we can paint the whole 86 in a weekend. its easy, trust me.

Just make sure to put some quality rods in! If you really want to make it reliable, just sleeve it! it's not like you'll ever regret making it indestructible :p

Got the trany up, in, tested good, now I am drifting again, got the fog lamps on, and put a little paint on the crappy wheels.....still got to wait for my watanabes :(

But got that all done, still got to finish the dash and interior crap, then start the paint process....and after the Accord sell's, then that money is going into the engine....carbs, MSD, bore and hone, new pistons, rings, and a lot of headwork....but this engine I just put in is leaking like crazy...rad fluid everywhere. ohh well, it just has to make it to NJ for one last drift event, then It might go back into the garage and wait on the other parts that is coming, like the TRD 2 way LSD that is on the baot right now making it's way over here.....and a crap load of some more parts that will eventually make it on the car......damn...I am rambling again....

no car jumping ...yet

get the AE86 GTS...not the SR5...get the GTS...have yourself a lot a of time and trouble. The GTS.....repeat...the GTS...there are 5 of them up on Ebay yesterday, and one in my area that I was temoted to go rob a bank for.....

I'm not sure on the years, but the 84-87 are the RWD years...IIRC.....mines an 85, with another 85 GTS drive train, and engine...but I am building up a 89-92 high compression 10.3 to 1 JDM engine from a MR2....with the oversize pistons, milled head, P&P, TRD high lift cams, the carbs....and it will be a monster...hopefully I can squeez out 180-200 HP......
