Need help with Gsr swap shift linkage in a sedan

Does any body know how much I have 2 cut out of my shift linkage that came out a 96 teg for it to work in my 90 sedan. Iv already got the gar in the car but cant find any thing about cutting the shift linkage. I know they sell the swap ones but I aint got that kinda money.

All I would do is mount motor/trans and shift linkage to the shifter. Rotate bars towards trans and see how much needs to be cut. Cheap options take some ingenuity.

Yea man I know how to do shit but I know I'm not the only person that's done this swap and was wondering if any body knew.

Your logic is off. Don't take someone's word for it. Maybe to cross reference with your own measurement but why the hell would it really matter?

Well Iv heard 1 and 1/4 inch but I was trying to check with other people
