Plastic Guage

My friend is building his b16a engine and he just got his rings, pistons , and rods, and he needs to now what plastic gauge to use on his crank and rods? We now there are different kinds, we even called the honda dealer ship and they didn't now either.

Tehre is no different kinds, there is only 1 type, it's just a little string of plastic that goes in between, torque them both and check the clearence.

Actually there are different kinds. The different "kinds" measure a different set of clearances. How tight does your freind want the clearances on his crank and rod journals?
