ok... i tried running Ad-aware and i got a pop up message saying something about c:windows/system32/service.exe ... and then it reboots the computer.. only does it when i run an Ad scan.. where the computer nerds at? need help

oh yea.. and as soon as i start running the Ad scan i get a lot of critical objects.. .. then the message pops up and restarts the computer.. bah.. been pissing me off for the past 2 hrs

Hey Clint, are you able to take screen shots? If you are send me a shot and I may be able to help you out. I just want to see what the "critical objects" error looks like.

Also, where did you get your adware program from? I was expecting a dll error, but the .exe errors leads me to think something else.

it'll reboot the computer again if i pull up the message..

but here is a screen shot of what i'm getting. not the one on the left, but the box on the right saying its shutting down

modules.php

but i have like 70 Critical objects in Adaware before it shuts down, so i cant see what those are because the scan never gets to finish.. its literally up for 30 seconds and i get the message.. its only when i run that program. .. never had the problem with it before though

ive had both of those before. the dell error report alot actually. they dont mean as much but in this case send report use the click here to see if u can solve ur problem thare

i dont get the "send report" window .. like i said above.. just the one on the right

Damn it! I've seen that message come up before but can't remember how fix it. I'm at work and we're SWAMPED. Let me call my brother and see if he can figure it out for me. I'll try to get back to you soon.

my bad didnt see that. dang that sux i have no clue. u use this before so uninstall then reinstall the program

like i said.. i've had Ad-aware for years on my computer and never had a problem with it until now.. its pulls up the "restart message" as soon as it scans teh c:windows/system32/service(s).exe .. i cant remember if its service.exe or services.exe.. i know services.exe is part of windows and the other is spyware..

Luis, thanks.. it'd be much appreciated.. lmk if you find anything out

sorry.. im not in much of a reading mood. lol

it doesnt say anything about terminating the critical objects?
if not, its not a very useful anti virus program.

obviously you dont read...

the scan doesnt ever get to finish for me to clear the critical objects...

gonna try and run a different scan

i dont use any windows programs except for xp pro.
try kaspersky.
its pretty easy to find it for free.

or if your into bit torrent downloading, isohunt has quite a few very good programs.
