Replacing cam chain without removing head?

Hey, is there any way to remove/install the cam chain on the s2000 by doing all the steps in the manual other then removing the head? It seems to be just to replace the chain, you need to overhaul all the seals and gaskets, kinda costly.

Well I'm going to answer my own question soon. I think it's possible but not practical. The headgasket extends past the head onto the top of the crank case.
It can probably be reused if you don't want to take the head off, because a new one requires liquid gasket in that area anyways. However, I don't think I want to gamble like that with a 3,000$ motor.
