today was nice outside so i decided to go do some body work on my 93 Escort GT (yeah i know). i niticed on the rear fender well on the passenger side that there was blisting and thought no biggie and started sanding it down. not 10 seconds of sanding and the body of the car started coming off in small chunks from the rust had made the blister. so i was like hmmmm...throw some bondo over it and it should be good to go
WRONG!!!! the bondo aint do shit to help it after it had cured when i was sanding it down to make it all nice and smooth. then i looked around in that area real good and noticed there was a shitload of rust and when i touched stuff, it would break apart some
. so i pretty much said fuck it and decided not to work on it anymore (was working on car for 3 hrs before i got to that section of the car). so now i am sitting here seriously (and i mean it this damn time) wanting to sell it because its just too much damn work to fix all the rust and god knows what else is wrong with it. i think after i sell it, i am gonna find me a 91-93(?) style Honda Accord for a fairly decent yet not too much amount. this week ima see what i can do...if anyone is in the Indiana/Ohio area, lemme know if you find a 91-93 Accord or 92-95 Civic for cheap...but its gotta run decent and not look so rough (although front fenders and bumpers can be messed up somewhat as they are easy to find..unlike stuff for that shitbox Ford Escort). anyways, ive had it with it and i made up my mind...help me out y'all in looking for another car.
