P pills_PMD New Member VIP Feb 18, 2003 #2 you're gonna have to come a little more specific than that... there really isn't anything in the intake manifold that i could see making a ticking noise... i'm wondering if perhaps your ears are deceiving you and it's a bit of a valve tapping noise
