Swapping my D16A3 head, for a B16A2 or B16A3 one

I've port polished/matched the intake and exhaust. We'll see what kinda of power it gets when I drop the motor back into the car. Thing is, I need new motor mounts and they're outta inventory here. There aren't any aftermarket ones that I could find. They're bloody expensive from Honda! The whole rebuild costed me maybe 800 Can. My bloody motor mounts from Honda cost almost 300 for all 3 of them. Nearly half the cost of my whole engine cleanup/rebuild.

I was thinking of a cams and gears. Do you think it would be worth going to a VTECH SOHC rather than having a DOHC motor? Would be interesting if I could get a VTECH SOHC and put it in.

VTEC, not VTECH.

Going to one of the SOHC VTEC engines will be really easy, but it's still not much of a power increase. The main advantage you'll have there is the large aftermarket, and potential later to make pretty good power with boost.
