Hands Off my Balls
So, im starting this thread of by saying that other than www.pornhub.com, craigslist has got to be one of the shadiest fucking websites ever to hit the internet.
This is the story (which has yet to be completed) of my bumping audio system.
i have been spending the last 6 weeks shopping around everyplace i go doing homework on all of my electronics. subs, amps, capacitors etc.
i decided im not interested in spending alot of money...(duh) but im still looking for quallity items... so what better place to seach for cheap shit than craigslist right? Wrong! besides finding a scammer every 10 post on craigslist, you never ever know who your really talking to...
nonetheless, i recieved an email about a set of subs and amp that were for sale.
so i figured i could go check them out. they happened to be what i was looking for... barley used, (2 months) 12" alpine subs (2) and a decient amplifier (pioneer 760 watt)
before i could do any thing i had to give the guy a call to make sure he was real and had the things i was looking for. i found a meeting spot with him and the story continues......
the meeting spot was and one of the renound NOHS SOHS football game. BAD IDEA. north oldam high school v. south oldham high school RIVAL game. (so basically i was an idiot) but still i was going to the game so meeting him at the place was convienient. i get there having talked to the guy a few times prior on the phone... and it is freezing outside. i go out there dressed up like slim shady with 5 coats a fitted and a parka with a top fur hood. as im walking through the most crowded parking lot in all history dodging crazy newbie drivers i realized that this is the shadiest fucking thing i have ever done in my life. i leave my house for a footbal game, and end up buying $230 of audio equipment out of the back of this dudes ridgeline i have never met before..... he could still be a child rapist for all i know... thank goodness in the end he wasnt but.... still. plus there was like 10 cop cars parked around for the crowd contol of the foot ball game. and the guy i was buying the stuff from seemed a little shaky about the cops... (not to mention i live in a predominantly white area and he was african american) so im a little creeped... but i bought the stuff and got the shit out of there..... however he did help me move all the stuff to my car. which was nice since each sub weight was around 40-60 Ibs
then i run into another problem. this dude just saw exactly where i parked and put all of my stuff that i bought from him.(not to mention i wasnt even driving my car at this time i had to borrow my sisters car for the day. check it out, its a 2005 chevy aveo hatchback, laugh your ass off.) and of course this dosnt occur to me untill about an hour later when i am watching the football game.... so i sprint back to my car as soon as the game was over and.........
everything is there. whew!
