Timing ques

Quick ques, tuning up the crx with a dohc zc in it before I put it on the rd. I have heard advancing the timing can help sometimes. The motor is bone stock everything because I went for the stock look and sound. I don't think it will do anything much, opinions?

it all depends...

turning the distributor can alter the timing, but the computer may see this and put in a retard correction t get it to fire at the "proper" time...

try holding the throttle cable so the motor revs around 3000, then turn the distributor... find an ideal spot, then work the throttle back and forth and see if the motor spins up faster...

leave the dist. stock. if you want to mess with timing and tuning, look into turbo edit (yes it works on n/a cars)
