Type R Tapped Out ?

I am in some need of help in first gear just after the vtec kicks in the motor cut out like im not geting fuel or somthing and when i shift from 1sd to 2nd the same ting happens only before the vtec? can any one help ? i have to fix it before this weekend got some 5.0 mustangs to tear up!!

check ur distributor. "sounds" like it could be a cap and rotor problem maybe. if no CEL's
