V-tec Q's

alright... i cant seem to find out how to wire the v-tec into my '93 civic dx. i have the p28 ecu, but i dont know what pins to connect to.
anyways... will it hurt anything if i go ahead and drop the motor, plug the ecu in, and just run it without the v-tec?
just until i get it figured out.

orange/white to point A4 for VTEC Spool Solenoid----------orange/blue to point D6 for VTEC Oil Pressure Switch Input.

VTEC has no dash (-)
