Video of the 350Z I've talked about in the past.

what did those mods cost? cause that doesn't seem like to much money to spend. i looooove those cars, and that color.

Thats not that fast for a z... i have first hand witnessed a friend of mine who owns the orangish touring 350z turn a 13.20 bone stock. Powershifting through every gear. Driver skill has alot to do with quarter mile racing.

well i was just comparing the time run there, vs. the time "motor trend" and similar magzines ran. thats all. besides, i wouldn't power shift my 350.

thats about the TOP TOP of the prices for it

id say hes pretty close Ive seen one with less than 1500 put into it running a 12.7

You can get a Apex single exhaust for the Z, it comes in at around 400-500. I paid $740 shiped for my cat back dual exhaust, 400ish for my Y pipe, cats run about 300-400 depending, if you get test pipes they're about $120. Plenum goes for about $400 chiped ECU not sure. Intake $100-200.

I'm on the Z boards and I've yet to see a stock 350Z run low 13s. 13.7 seems to be what the really good drivers run stock.

However, if he had slicks and dumped it at 5K RPM as with never lifting while shifting... MAYBE it could happen.

also the 300ZXT being faster/better then the 350Z... once again coming from a Z board and loving all Zs. (almost bought a 300ZX a few times) thats not true. the 350Z out handles the 300ZXTT and is about the same speed, 0-60 and1/4 mile wise as the 300ZXTT.

The build quailty of the 300ZXTT is much higher. but that's IMO the only plus to the 300ZXTT. 350Z looks better and IMO has a much better engine that is just starting to get modded. I've already seen a few 1000+ HP 3.5L motors one made almost 1500HP.

^what he said..... only one thing missing STOCK for STOCK the only thing I think the 300zx has over the 350z is the straight line run, past that, its a pig.... and the youngest of them all is almost 10 years old
