Both are "solar" powered so neither of them should need battery changes any time soon. Both are quartz and should maintain pretty good accuracy. Go with the one you like better. For me I prefer the simpler face like on the Seiko.

Yea i mean they are both very similar, obviously the Citizen is using are more complex quartz movement because of the Sub Dials that display the Day, the Date and also the 12/24 hour sub dial. If you like that Field/Pilot Style and want to get into a Automatic Movement, check out these Seikos

I bought myself a Sieko Solar a few weeks back. I really like it.

Before this one I'd been wearing a Timex Expedition, I thought I'd miss the indiglo face, but with the luminous marks at 12, 3, 6, and 9 combined with the luminous hands, it's actually easier to read in dim light. It's built like a tank too.

I've never been big on watches but I bought a Fossil smart watch a couple years ago and have grown accustomed to wearing one. I like the usefulness of the smart watch to quickly check notifications when I cannot check my phone, but I'm actually getting tired of the constant awareness of my phone that it has caused. I like the automatics where you can see the internal movements (not sure if there is a name for that or not) and I can interchange the leather band with the stainless one on my smart watch.

Skeleton Dial is what they are referred to and Partial Skeleton is known as Open Heart dials where you can see the part of the movement in the works. You can find a bunch of cheap Chinese brands like Winner, Curren, Caravelle, even Kenneth Cole, Michael Kors, Emporio Armani, Bulova and Invicta on ebay if you search Skeleton Dial watches.

Decided to put a new battery in the old luminox and just rock that for now. The tritium in the face glows crazy bright! Eventually I'll get a nicer dress watch but I think this will take all the beating I can give it at work
