OK I was cheking out the Streetimports.com and I found out that B18c5 cost a lot more then B18c1.
I know that they have difference in HP and Torque.
Is there any difference in sizes I know I can swap B18c5 in my Civic 96. Can I swap B18C1 in it?

And whats a difference between them inside?
Does they have different Pistons?
Cuz they have different Compression Ratio: B18c1 have 10.0:1 and B18c5 have 10.2:1

The B18C5 is found in the Integra Type-R (ITR) and its rated at 195HP.
- Different Intake manifold; dual intake runners (one long for low RPMs one short for high RPMs)
- Higher compression
- Different cylinder head.

The B18C1 is found in the Integra GS-R and its rated at 170HP.

If your car can accept a B18C5 it can accept any other B series motor(B16A, B17, B18, B20). H series is another matter though.

I'll list the major differences.
Compression,
GS-R - 10:1, Type-R 10.6:1

Type-R port and polished head,
Type-R has high flow single stage intake plenum,
Type-R has lighter rods,
Type-R has lighter dual valve springs, and valves
Type-R has more extreme cam profile, more lift and overlap.
Type-R has low-friction coating on pistons.
Type-R has removed quench pads in the head for greater flow.

Very very different engines. Allot of stuff went into sqeezing the last 25 HP from an already high performance engine. The B18C5 is more than an engine, it's a hand made work of art.
the transmission from the Type-R has the limited slip diff already

just a foot note that these are USDM specs as given

i think you have that manifold confused with the b18c1

All you guys forgot the most important part of the C5 or any other R motor....THE BEAUTIFUL RED VALVE COVER! Its wack-o-riffic!
