basically if you use the 5mm spacers with extended lugs - put the lugs in and the rotor back on make sure everything is good there. then you would put a few drops of red threadlocker between the lug holes on the spacer (after cleaning it really good of course, and you only need DROPS like if you were using a medicine dropper. put the spacer on your brake rotor aligned as best you can and put your open ended lugs on HAND TIGHT. the acorns will center the spacers on the lugs. wait a few hours and remove the lugs. if it holds, you're good! if it doesn't try again.

btw the bolt on spacers are a better option but way too much if you are only looking for 1/4 inch.
