I remember watching fast and the furious (strange way to start) and the dude said "too early". I take it that there is a specific time that is best to hit the NoS to get the best results. What is the best time to hit it?

usually at full throttle. But it really depends on what type of setup you have.

Well i was thinking about running a 75 shot dry on my lude...if i were to do it, could i just set it up through a toggle switch and then cut it off when im done with my run?

as long as you have 2 of the big bottles you'll be ok

lol well i have a friend thats a dentist who said he could hook me up with the bottles when i get it.

that was kind of a joke. but i guess it would be helpful to have a larger bottle if you can't refill it half way through the night.

Nitrous can be run in many different setups,
anything from push button when you need it, i.e. passing on the highway.
or in some drag racing setups multistage nitrous is used. so much when in full throttle automatically to keep consistancy plus a push button. like 50 shot and 100 shot or what ev.
if you have the resources you will go faster holding the button down the length of the track. a toggle switch would work but you might go through it more.

such is life...i did the math on it and there is going to be a lil over 3 grand without the mahle pistons and the turbo charger

Between valve springs, fuel rail, fuel injectors, fuel pump, cam shaft, Zex dry nitrous, cold air intake (until i save the money for the turbo and new pistons) and headers (still have the stock cause i JUST did the swap into my lude) Gimmie about a month and ill have all that stuff setup.

#1 You must sleeve an H22 to run forged pistons.

#2 Why do you have only 1 camshaft in your H22?

#3 Where does the 2nd header go on your 4 cylinder?

#4 You sound like the perfect candidate for NITROUS.

 Have Fun!!!!

#1 Mahle pistons are made to run on the H22 without resleeving it

#2 I dunno why i said shaft instead of shafts

#3 Ive always called headers headers even if there is only one.

#4 is that sarcasm....cant really tell

#5 Totally forgot i made this thread...sorry it took so long for the reply.

No, he said he was running forged pistons. I have never heard of a piston that you can run in the H22 without sleeving it, (edit - I mean forged) henceforth I stated that he would have to sleeve the block, TRYING to help out and prepare him for the cost. So there.

Forged pistons for stock sleeve H22s have been out for quite a while... I just have no idea if they actually work or not. Some people say they don't.

wow thats funny shit  but anyways why are you getting a DRY system those burn up shit easier then the WET systems I would more likely get a wet system therefore you have less problems about blowing a head gasket and such..
