When you buy the tach it will come with detailed instructions if you buy an Autometer, you can't go wrong, but why doyou want a huge tach?

unless it has a manual transmission there's really no need beyond the stock tachometer. Heck, one of my cars is a manual and doesn't have a tach and I just go by the sound of the engine. trust me. When you're out driving, you'll be paying attention to so many other things you won't worry about the rpms your motor is doing.

Maybe through his mind is that it gains alot of horsepower...It's really a no need product unless your showing up at every track day or just to the point you want someone to hit you behind your head to get that flash in your eye's so that your dumbself don't over rev and kill the mad overheated motor.

I personally would fix the power steering and the brakes before i put an oversized rpm guage on a car that already has a guage.

dude... why do you have to butt in on this thread just to bash on him... it's pointless and it just shows how much of a dumbass you are. Maybe he's new at this, maybe he's asking questions that may seem dumb to some people but to him its learning. Leave the kid alone, we are here to help not to bash on him for not being "all-knowing"

I agree with Jason here, safety over comes any upgrades/modifications/etc. Get it road worthy then start putting your taste into it.
