just looking to see if it will work for a test firing...

i will be getting the z6 dizzy, but want to give the motor a spin...
have an obd1 dx dizzy, actually 2 non-vtec dizzy's...

i've never done it, so i can't confirm, but word on the street is that it won't work. not sure why...

I have done it. you can do it. But you have to get the timing right and the bolts don't even match up . you have to hold the dizzy on and have someone start the car. I did it on my b7 mini-me to get it to start before i got my z6 dizzy.

yep you can do it. the previouse owner of my rex BROKE parts of the bracket, and then put a big washer on the top bolt to hold it on. How rice is that? anyway it will work.

I had my stock crx dist. on my vtec head and ran it that way for a year
you can also swap out the guts of the non vtec dist and put them into the vtec dist, so that way the bolts line up

that the way to if you find a housing. I found my dizzy from a fellow HS member.

yup it can def be done but you have to hack off one of the dizzy holes and nigrig it with a washer. a freind of mine did it with a cx dizzy on a z6 bout 2 months ago and he hasnt had a prob with it yet
