I swaped a b16 in my 91' civic ,i used the whole loom from the car that the engine was removed from (INTEGRA DA6 93') and every thing was going fine till the monent that i started up the engine . Yes it started fine worked fine and nice idling too but i left it runnig for some time to check if the water temp and the cooling fan were working and when the temp moved a little bit up the engine shutted and wont start again .There is no spark comming out from the distributer and just that!!
I'm not thinking about the temperature because i left the car to cool down and tried to fire again but no success.

Did I fried out the ecu??
What can i do to solve it??

I completed 2 years in electronics in college and electrical problems still piss me off to no end.. I'm sure you did the obvious, wiggle n pusy/check all your connections, may have been some corrosion somewhere along the line, check the grounds on the block/harness and make sure you put the ground from the engine to body cable on.. check all the fuses under the hood and dash.. hmm.. pull that distributor cap off and see if the rotors still on there, the nut that holds them on likes to work its way loose easily so if you did already get under the cap and there wasnt any locktyte / thread lock on the allen bolt holding the rotor on it definatly fell out.. , At last I would suspect the ECU Going out, I dont hear of them goin out much.. but if it did, I have a obd-0 ecu for sale if all else fails.. let me know
