Alright so after lots of reading and tearing apart my f22b2, I found a blown head gasket and a blown 3rd cylinder piston ring. What I need some advice on is if it is worth saving for another month or two to get a h23 or a h22, or with the money I have now, just go ahead and buy another f22b2? So what I am asking is: Is it worth it to wait? I am going to be turboing btw. Thanks guys

I need a radiator to get my B16 EF back on the road, I know how you feel, I miss driving it soo much, and Ive been driving my parents Lumina but its kinda nice driving something that is quiet and rides smooth you know?

haha i know exactly what you mean, I deliver pizzas so its nice to drive an auto every once in a while lol.

And hey, I have a 92 hatch radiator. I JB Welded a little hole on the top, otherwise its in pretty good condition. lmk

Just have some patience and wait for the H22/H23. Why spend money on another F-series engine when you're just going to take it out soon and put in something else anyway? That money could go towards getting the engine you really want that much faster...

:werd: sounds like a plan. Hey brutal: do you think I should build a h23/f22? or just a regular h23? in your opinion. (Im doing low boost with daily driving)

Either would be fine really. Since your current F22 is FUBAR'd, I'd probably just grab an entire H23 rather then attempt the headswap...

I agree. Maybe if you didn't have a blown piston ring and you wouldn't have to rip the block apart and whatknot, but since you do, my real vote is to just get the H23. It'll give you some less headache.

Nice.

I think we all miss driving our cars when we cant. I got my wisdom teeth out on the 1st and its only been 2 days and im going crazy. Same thing with the GF's 06 civic, its comfy and quiet, smooth and good on gas. Good for trips and when i have more than 2 people to cart around. But nothing compares to my loud, rough, stiff 90 integra with a revv hungry B16.
