I might be buying this 91 accord but the Vtech isn't hooked up to the ECU or so im told. Do i have to get a new ECU?

first its vtec not vtech and if it dont have the vtec ecu then yes you will need a new ecu,and you will need to run a few extra wires to make it work

are you even possitive its a Vtec engine??? i mean the 91 accords didnt come with a Vtec engine... they didnt come stock till 94 i believe....

whats the stamping on the block... that should help ;)

EDIT..... iam a fuckin idiot for not even reading the name of the thread

you will need to do a lot of wiring and a new ecu for that car. 91 accord (and 91 honda for that matter) will be obd1, 01 H22 will be obd2.
